U.S., Japan Conclude First Round Of TPP Talks

Law360, New York (August 9, 2013, 9:04 PM EDT) -- The U.S. and Japan on Friday completed an initial round of talks over a proposed free trade zone in the Asia-Pacific region but were reportedly unable to reach an agreement on automobiles, insurance and non-tariff measures, which are the biggest obstacles in the negotiations.
