NYC Hands Over $12M To Settle Bronx Landfill Cancer Suit

Law360, New York (August 12, 2013, 7:45 PM EDT) -- New York City officials and 12 Bronx residents blaming contamination at a Pelham Bay landfill for acute lymphoid leukemia said Monday they had reached settlement deals totaling $12 million to resolve the long-running cancer claims that date back more than two decades.
