France, Norway Energy JV Wins $3.5B In Petrobras Contracts

Law360, New York (August 12, 2013, 4:39 PM EDT) -- An energy services joint venture between France's Technip SA and Norway's DOF Group has won eight contracts from Petroleo Brasileiro SA totaling $3.5 billion to provide pipelay vessels for Petrobras' offshore operations in Brazil, the venture announced Monday.

The contracts include the construction of four pipelay vessels, which will be used to install flexible pipes at Petrobras' Atlantic Ocean operations off the coast of Brazil.
