TransCanada Firms Up Rates With NGTL Pipeline Shippers

Law360, New York (August 12, 2013, 4:34 PM EDT) -- TransCanada Corp. has hammered out a settlement for this year and next year's revenue requirements with shippers tied to its sprawling NGTL gas-transmission system, a 15,000-mile network that extends through western Canada, it said Monday.

The agreement's terms fix its equity return at 10.1 percent on an equity component of 40 percent, compared to last year's slightly lower equity return rate of 9.7 percent rate.
