Ohio Scrap Metal Dealer Indicted For Allocation

Law360, New York (February 7, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- In the latest in a series of criminal antitrust cases involving the Cleveland-area scrap metal industry, a scrap metal dealership and its owner were indicted Wednesday for conspiring to allocate suppliers in northeastern Ohio.

Willoughby, Ohio-based Alliance National Limited Partnership, which does business as DeMilta Iron & Metal Ltd., and its owner, Francis DeMilta, were charged in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio with violating the Sherman Act.
