Canadian Gas Station Co. Found Guilty Of Price-Fixing

Law360, New York (August 12, 2013, 5:34 PM EDT) -- Another Canadian gasoline retailer has been found guilty of participating in a gas price-fixing conspiracy that allegedly involved 15 companies and prompted one of the largest criminal probes in the history of Canada's Competition Bureau, the agency announced Friday.

After a roughly two-week trial held in May, Les Pétroles Global Inc. was found guilty in Quebec Superior Court in Sherbrooke of conspiring to set prices at the pump in three communities in the province, the bureau said.
