Gov. Christie Won't Renominate NJ Supreme Court Justice

Law360, New York (August 12, 2013, 5:48 PM EDT) -- New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie won't renominate state Supreme Court Justice Helen Hoens to a new term over fears that Democratic lawmakers will block the effort, and he has instead nominated Superior Court Judge Faustino J. Fernandez-Vina to assume her seat, the governor's office said Monday.
