Univ. Of Wis. Defends Stem Cell Patent At Fed. Circ.

Law360, New York (August 15, 2013, 4:37 PM EDT) -- The University of Wisconsin-Madison's patent licensing arm on Wednesday responded to critics who claim a stem cell patent it holds should be invalidated in light of the U.S. Supreme Court's recent Myriad Genetics Inc. decision, telling the Federal Circuit the patent was the result of a biologist's pioneering research.
