Houston Litigation Boutique Says Ex-Partner Stole Clients

Law360, Houston (August 15, 2013, 6:11 PM EDT) -- Business litigation firm Ireson & Weizel PC hit a former partner with a suit in Texas court Thursday, alleging he interfered with the firm’s contractual client relationships and stole employees to start a competing boutique, Hightower Russo & Capellan.

Ireson Weizel says that just before Timothy Hightower resigned two years ago, he began “enticing” clients and employees to come with him, disrupting existing contracts with the firm and in disregard of his fiduciary obligations to his former law partners.
