W.Va. Judge Charged With Persecuting Romantic Rival

Law360, New York (August 16, 2013, 5:56 PM EDT) -- A Mingo County, W.Va., judge was arrested Thursday on federal charges of persecuting the husband of the secretary with whom he had an affair. 

Judge Michael Thornsbury allegedly talked a friend into trying to plant drugs on the husband's pickup truck after the secretary, known only as "K.W." in court documents, broke off the affair.
