Green Groups Sue Over Pollution At Los Alamos

Law360, New York (February 8, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- Los Alamos National Laboratory was hit with a lawsuit Thursday by several conservation groups, which allege that the lab has contaminated surface and groundwater on its property by dumping toxic waste.

The suit was filed in U.S. District Court in New Mexico by nine groups, including Concerned Citizens for Nuclear Safety, the Embudo Valley Environmental Monitoring Group and river conservation group Amigos Bravos.
