Ex-Pa. Speaker’s Appeal Of Corruption Conviction Falls Flat

Law360, New York (August 16, 2013, 8:59 PM EDT) -- A Pennsylvania appeals court on Friday affirmed the prison sentence of former Pennsylvania House Speaker Bill DeWeese, saying he was not denied due process when he was convicted in February 2012 of using legislative staff members to campaign for him during work hours.
