UK Grocer Tesco Fined Over Misleading '1/2 Off' Promotion

Law360, New York (August 19, 2013, 2:56 PM EDT) -- British grocer Tesco Stores Ltd. was fined nearly a half-million dollars on Monday by a U.K. court that found the company had misled consumers with a promotion for strawberries that were marketed as “half price” for far longer than they were sold at their original cost.
