Samsung To Tackle Android Patent Allegations In Mediation

Law360, New York (August 19, 2013, 3:20 PM EDT) -- St. Clair Intellectual Property Consultants Inc.'s case against Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd.'s alleged infringement of its computer power management patents is headed for mediation, joining a host of other complaints brought by St. Clair against other tech giants following a Monday order from a Delaware federal judge.

U.S. District Judge Leonard P. Stark tapped Chief Magistrate Judge Mary Pat Thynge to determine whether Samsung's phones and tablet computers infringe on six patents held by St. Clair.
