Wyo. Lawmakers Push For Federal Fracking Rule Exemptions

Law360, New York (August 19, 2013, 6:11 PM EDT) -- Wyoming's congressional delegation on Monday urged the U.S. Department of the Interior to exempt Wyoming and other states currently regulating hydraulic fracturing from a pending federal rule for fracking on public lands, saying it's duplicative and would gum up oil and gas development on federal lands.
