BHP Billiton Thaws Spending Freeze With $2.6B Investment

Law360, New York (August 20, 2013, 3:19 PM EDT) -- Mining giant BHP Billiton Ltd. said Tuesday it would invest $2.6 billion into a Canadian potash project, its first major investment since a spending freeze last year.
