Jury Awards $31M In Hearing Aid Patent Case

Law360 (February 8, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- Energy Transportation Group Inc. has won a $31 million verdict against two corporate members of an allegedly anti-competitive trade association that were found to have infringed two of its hearing aid technology patents.

A jury at the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware found last week that the Demant defendants should pay $16 million and the Widex defendants $15 million in damages for infringing U.S. Patent Numbers 4,731,850 and 4,879,749.
