Law Firms' Intervention Bid Nixed In GSK Class Action

Law360, Philadelphia (August 21, 2013, 2:32 PM EDT) -- A Pennsylvania state judge on Tuesday shot down a bid by six law firms looking to intervene in a class action brought by UnitedHealth Group Inc. against GlaxoSmithKline PLC seeking damages for insurance coverage United provided to policyholders treated for injuries stemming from the drugs Avandia and Paxil.
