Rosneft, ExxonMobil Seek LNG Contractor

Law360, New York (August 21, 2013, 6:04 PM EDT) -- ExxonMobil Corp. and Russian state oil company OAO Rosneft have begun looking for contractors to design and engineer their planned joint gas liquefaction facility in Sakhalin, an island just off Russia's east coast.

Russia typically allows only its own state firms such as Gazprom and Rosneft to exploit resources on its territory.
