Regs, Gas Prices To Shutter 60 GW Of Coal Power: Study

Law360, New York (August 22, 2013, 3:49 PM EDT) -- A U.S. Department of Energy-funded study made available this week claims that up to 60 gigawatts of coal-fired power could be shut down within the next five years because it won’t be able to cope with low gas prices and comply with stricter greenhouse gas emissions regulations.
