Claim Survives In Savannah River Discrimination Suits

Law360, New York (February 11, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- An appellate court has dismissed all but one remaining claim from a group of race discrimination suits stemming from a purported class action filed against the U.S. Department of Energy’s Savannah River site in South Carolina.

On Thursday, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit upheld the lower court’s denial of class certification and approval of summary judgment for the defendants in four individual discrimination cases that were consolidated for appeal.
