NY Pols Want Resin Maker's IP Rights Upheld At ITC

Law360, New York (August 22, 2013, 7:02 PM EDT) -- New York lawmakers weighed in Wednesday on a potential import ban against a Chinese company found to have stolen trade secrets related to rubber resin, saying the U.S. International Trade Commission should protect a New York-based company's intellectual property rights. 

Sen. Charles Schumer, D-N.Y., and Rep. Paul D. Tonko, D-N.Y., sent a letter to the six members of the ITC, saying it is in the public interest to protect the intellectual property of U.S. companies, such as Schenectady, N.Y.-based SI Group Inc.
