Sears, Kmart, 19 Others Sued Before ITC Over Grill Patents

Law360, New York (August 22, 2013, 5:21 PM EDT) -- Sears, Roebuck & Co. and its affiliate Kmart Corp. were among 21 companies that a Georgia-based outdoor cooking product manufacturer accused of infringing its patents for a dual-mode grill in a complaint filed Wednesday with the U.S. International Trade Commission.

A&J Manufacturing LLC and one of its units launched their ITC action as part of a larger patent-enforcement assault that included 10 lawsuits concurrently filed against some of the respondents in Georgia federal court.
