Obama Says Law School Should Be 2 Years

Law360, New York (August 23, 2013, 6:37 PM EDT) -- President Barack Obama on Friday urged the nation's law schools to slim their programs from three to two years, telling a town hall of students at New York's Binghamton University that the saved time can be used to work and earn money.

Obama said that while law schools may wonder if they can sustain themselves and keep good professors if they shave a year off of their programs, he is sure they can do it if they think creatively about the problem.
