Detroit Bankruptcy Court Rebukes Mediator Ethics Debate

Law360, New York (August 23, 2013, 7:12 PM EDT) -- The Detroit court overseeing the city’s historic bankruptcy on Friday defended its decision to appoint litigator Eugene Driker to mediate the case even though the city is his former client, saying its mediators follow a different code of ethics than the model rules adopted by the American Bar Association.
