Enviro Group Challenge To Ky. Mining Permits Nixed By Judge

Law360, Chicago (August 26, 2013, 5:58 PM EDT) -- A Kentucky federal judge on Friday squelched a lawsuit from two environmental groups challenging a surface coal mining permit obtained by Leeco Inc., finding that the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers sufficiently weighed the potential risks before issuing the permit.
