TNT Looks To Offload Fashion Unit After Failed UPS Takeover

Law360, New York (August 27, 2013, 2:21 PM EDT) -- Delivery giant TNT Express NV is considering selling its Dutch fashion-logistics business, it confirmed Tuesday, part of an ongoing effort to reshape its assets six months after European regulators squelched the company's plans to merge with United Parcel Service Inc.

The unit potentially on the selling block, TNT Fashion Group BV, provides supply-chain services, including storage and distribution help, to both high-fashion and big-name retail customers. It operates separately from TNT's U.K. fashion business, which will remain part of the company's U.K. offshoot.
