Fla. County Officials Fined For 'Textgate' Scandal

Law360, Miami (August 29, 2013, 7:27 PM EDT) -- Leaders from Orange County, Fla., face $500 fines after a state attorney determined that they violated state public records laws when they deleted text messages about a paid-sick-time measure debated at a 2012 Board of County Commissioners meeting.
