Fracking Cos. Ask Colo. High Court To Allow Lone Pine Orders

Law360, New York (August 30, 2013, 4:20 PM EDT) -- A group of oil industry companies facing a fracking toxic tort case asked the Colorado Supreme Court on Thursday to overturn an appeals court decision forbidding so-called Lone Pine orders, arguing it undermines trial courts’ ability to effectively tailor discovery to the needs of individual cases.
