WTO Panel To Weigh EU Challenge To China's Steel Duties

Law360, New York (September 3, 2013, 2:34 PM EDT) -- The World Trade Organization said Friday that it will look into the European Union's claims that anti-dumping duties China imposes on high-performance stainless steel tubes imported from Europe violate international trade law.

The WTO established a dispute resolution panel after the EU requested the global trading body get involved in the disagreement. The panelists who will rule on the EU's claims against China are also sitting on a separate panel that was established at Japan's request.
