Ky. Gov. Can Expand Medicaid Under ACA, State Court Says

Law360, New York (September 4, 2013, 3:30 PM EDT) -- Kentucky Gov. Steve Beshear’s move to expand the Medicaid program to receive more federal funding under the Affordable Care Act does not violate the state’s Constitution in part because the policy is in the public interest, a state court ruled Tuesday.
