Federal Cybercrime Prosecutor Joins DLA Piper In Seattle

Law360, New York (September 4, 2013, 5:27 PM EDT) -- A former federal prosecutor who tried white collar cases and led cybercrime and data privacy initiatives for the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Western District of Washington has joined DLA Piper in Seattle, the firm said Wednesday.

Aravind Swaminathan, an assistant U.S. attorney for the Western District of Washington since 2008, has joined the firm's litigation group as a partner. He brings his experience as a federal prosecutor working with the Federal Trade Commission and others on data privacy issues and leading a cybercrime outreach program....
