Leeco Ordered To Halt Dredge Operations At Ky. Streams

Law360, New York (September 4, 2013, 2:17 PM EDT) -- A Kentucky federal judge on Friday ordered Leeco Inc. to stop conducting dredge and fill activities in three miles of streams until the parties can meet to discuss the merits of a challenge brought by environmental groups.

The temporary injunction was in response to an emergency motion brought before Labor Day weekend by Kentuckians for the Commonwealth, which asked the judge to block development until their appeal is addressed.
