WIPO Opens Center on Intellectual Property in Bulgaria

Law360, New York (October 13, 2003, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Dr. Kamil Idris, the Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), opened the Center on Intellectual Property at the University of National and World Economy in Sofia, Bularia on Monday, the Sofia Morning News reported.

Idris arrived in Sofia at the special invitation of Bulgaria's President, Georgi Parvanov, who stressed his government's commitment to the protection of intellectual property rights.
