Puerto Rico Sues Shell, Chevron, Others Over MTBE Release

Law360, New York (September 5, 2013, 4:45 PM EDT) -- Puerto Rico on Wednesday sued dozens of energy giants including Shell Oil Co., Chevron Corp. and Exxon Mobil Corp. over the release of the gasoline additive methyl tertiary-butyl ether from gas stations that it said was contaminating its waters.
