Kennedy Blasts Proposed FMLA Changes

Law360, New York (February 13, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- A battle has erupted over proposed changes to the Family and Medical Leave Act, with Sen. Edward Kennedy (D-Mass.) leading the charge against revisions that he claims will be a step backward for many American families.

On Wednesday, Kennedy lodged a protest to the tentative amendments floated last week to the Family Medical Leave Act, which Kennedy claims will make it more difficult for people to go back to work after their health crisis has passed.
