Court Freezes Out Plaintiffs In P&G HeatWrap Suit

Law360, New York (February 13, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- An appeals court has affirmed a lower court's decision to dismiss a suit a couple brought against Procter & Gamble Co. alleging the company's ThermaCare HeatWrap product severely burned the wife.

A three-judge panel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit said Wednesday that the district court was right to dismiss Rachel and Francis Broussard's suit, which alleged claims under the Louisiana Products Liability Act.
