Summer Jobs Data Sees Improved Legal Industry

Law360, New York (September 9, 2013, 5:01 PM EDT) -- The legal employment picture was a bit brighter this summer with a two-month bump in new jobs, according to data released Friday from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.

According to preliminary seasonally adjusted employment numbers, the industry saw a second month of healthy job gains in August, with 2,700 additional legal sector jobs. That bump followed an increase of 2,300 jobs in July.
