Jury Exonerates Duane Morris Of Malpractice

Law360, New York (February 14, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- Duane Morris won a ruling in its favor from a Philadelphia jury on Wednesday in a case brought by a former client alleging malpractice.

The plaintiff, Joseph K. Adlerstein, sued Duane Morris in 2004 alleging that the firm committed malpractice in not ensuring that he would receive all of the $1.8 million awarded to him in a settlement agreement with SpectruMedix, a company he had helped start in the early 1990s that made medical equipment used to analyze DNA.
