Xcel Plans Colo. Renewable Projects, Coal Plant Closure

Law360, New York (September 10, 2013, 6:21 PM EDT) -- Xcel Energy Inc. said Tuesday that it's petitioned Colorado utility regulators to add hundreds of megawatts of new wind and solar power in the state, as well as close one coal-fired plant and continue to run another plant after converting it from coal to natural gas.
