Dickstein Lobbyist Accused Of Interfering With Congress

Law360, New York (September 11, 2013, 5:54 PM EDT) -- The top U.S. House of Representatives watchdog on Tuesday called out a Dickstein Shapiro LLP lobbyist for interfering with Congress by sending an email pleading that her client not be questioned during House committee testimony.

Rep. Darrell Issa, R-Calif., chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, interrupted a Tuesday hearing about government transparency and record retention to question a "disturbing" email sent by the Dickstein lobbyist to a committee member's staffer.
