FERC Chief Nominee Won't Get Key GOP Senator's Vote

Law360, New York (September 17, 2013, 4:06 PM EDT) -- Former Colorado utility regulator Ron Binz’s bid to lead the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission suffered a setback Tuesday when the top Republican on the Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources said she wouldn’t support his nomination, questioning his ability to keep the agency free from outside political influence.
