Sens. Stow Bluster In Wilkins' DC Circ. Confirmation Hearing

Law360, New York (September 13, 2013, 1:59 PM EDT) -- The Senate Judiciary Committee on Wednesday considered confirming U.S. District Judge Robert Wilkins to the D.C. Circuit, in a hearing that lacked the lacked the partisan rancor present in prior confirmation hearings.

In recent confirmation hearings, Republicans and Democrats have vocally and lengthily disagreed over whether additional confirmations to the appeals court are necessary. Instead, both sides agreed to simply submit their written opinions for the record for Wilkins' hearing.
