Enviros' CWA Suit Adds To Duke's NC Coal Ash Woes

Law360, New York (September 13, 2013, 7:33 PM EDT) -- Environmental groups hit Duke Energy Corp. with a Clean Water Act suit in North Carolina federal court on Thursday, accusing a subsidiary of fouling a lake and area groundwater with coal ash from a coal-fired power plant near Wilmington, N.C., that's slated for closure at year's end.
