HHS Wrongly Denied Medicare Payment, Hospital Co. Says

Law360, New York (September 13, 2013, 8:15 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services was wrong to deny a Medicare reimbursement to a Santa Maria, Calif.-based hospital after its merger with hospital firm Catholic Healthcare West because the consideration for the merger was fair, the firm told the D.C. Circuit on Thursday.
