Cosco Singapore Secures $566M In Shipyard Contracts

Law360, New York (September 13, 2013, 1:03 PM EDT) -- The Singapore division of China-based conglomerate Cosco Group has secured roughly $366 million in new maritime energy services contracts and had a separate $200 million contract rendered effective, Cosco said Friday.

Cosco Corp. (Singapore) Ltd. said three of its shipyard subsidiaries have signed vessel manufacturing and services contracts totaling $366 million with a number of global energy companies. The identities of the energy firms, which are based in Europe and China, were not disclosed.
