Arthrex Asks High Court To Nix $85M Suture Patent Verdict

Law360, New York (September 13, 2013, 7:20 PM EDT) -- Arthrex Inc. has urged the U.S. Supreme Court to uphold its strengthened “willful blindness test” for patent infringement cases and overturn a Federal Circuit ruling that granted $85 million to Smith & Nephew Inc. in a dispute over a patent covering the use of suture anchors during reconstructive surgery.
