Kirkland & Ellis Chases China Deals With New Beijing Office

Law360, New York (September 17, 2013, 3:38 PM EDT) -- Kirkland & Ellis LLP has expanded its China presence with a new office in Beijing led by the partnership's senior Chinese attorney, as it looks to capitalize on burgeoning cross-border deals activity, the firm said Tuesday.

Corporate partners David Zhang, who has practiced in China for more than 20 years, and Chuan Li, a founding partner of the firm’s Hong Kong and Shanghai offices, will lead the Beijing branch.
