US Chamber Of Commerce Pushes For New WTO Trade Deals

Law360, New York (September 17, 2013, 6:00 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Chamber of Commerce said Monday that a World Trade Organization agreement on a set of proposed trade concessions at a December summit represents the “last, best chance” for the organization to set broad, multilateral trade negotiations back on track.

The Chamber of Commerce released a position paper saying the WTO countries should push for an agreement on a “discrete package of deliverables” at the upcoming ninth WTO ministerial conference, scheduled to take place in early December in Bali, Indonesia.
