OfficeMax CEO Drops Out Of Race To Run Merged Company

Law360, New York (September 19, 2013, 12:52 PM EDT) -- OfficeMax Inc. CEO Ravi Saligram has withdrawn his name from a search committee tasked with choosing who will run the company after it closes a pending merger with Office Depot Inc., the company said late Wednesday.

Office Depot CEO Neil Austrian appears to still be in the running, though Saligram's letter, filed with the U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission, suggests the committee may be leaning toward an outside hire.
